Funraisin to Shopify mapping

This is the most important section. Everything else is wasted if this link is missing.

In Funraisin, every product option (each size) has a field called option_code. That field must contain the Shopify Variant ID for the matching size. That code is the only thing that tells the nightly sync which Shopify product an order line belongs to.

You will need Funraisin admin (/management), Shopify admin, and the Variant IDs from your Shopify products (built in Shopify, Ogo, and Guest Manager).

Steps

1. In Funraisin, open Shop and create this year's shop products so they mirror Shopify. Create the Tee, Hoodie, Jersey, Socks, and Ticket with the same sizes as Shopify.
2. For each size option of each product, set option_code to that size's Shopify Variant ID.
   • In Shopify, open the product, click the size variant, and copy the Variant ID from the URL. It is the long number, for example 47221186068636.
   • In Funraisin, paste it into that option's option_code.
   • Worked example (2026 socks): the Funraisin socks "One size" option_code is 47221186068636. The 2026 ticket Variant ID was 47107082354844.
3. Work through every size of every product. One blank code means one un-fulfilled item.
4. Do not leave a trailing space or apostrophe in the code.

How to verify (do this before go-live)

Ask Entangle to pull the order export report, or download it yourself. In Funraisin, go to Reporting, then Data Exports, then "GONG - Funraisin Shop Orders". Open the CSV and confirm the "Variant ID" column is filled for every product line, with no blanks. A blank there means a broken option_code.

Watch out for

• The Shopify Variant ID is not the product ID and not the SKU. It is the number after /variants/ in the URL.
• Re-check this whenever you add or change a product mid-event.
• If an item is selling on Funraisin but no orders are arriving in Shopify for it, suspect a blank or wrong option_code first.
